Requirements
PC (will not work on a Macintosh unfortunately)
Windows 95/98/2000/ME/2003/NT4
A 'C:' drive is required (almost all PCs have this)
If you are in a school, you may need permission from the IT department to gain access to the download

CONDITION: this game has an anti-copying security feature. You will either be emailed a password every 1-2 years, enabling you to continue using it, or you may be sent a link to download an updated version free of charge. If you receive neither then please check this website (address on game) for further instructions.
Installation Guide
A) Download the FreeZip file from the PC World website by clicking here. You can store this anywhere on your computer C: drive.
B) Then download the game by following the link you were sent by email if you have not already.
This download gives you 1 file called TheSpellingGame.zip.
This needs to be saved to your computer at the following location: C:My Documents
This is NOT the same 'My Documents' folder which you find under 'Documents and Settings'
Therefore you will need to create a new 'My Documents' folder in your C: drive
(Click on My Computer > Click on C: drive > Right Click > New Folder > choose the name for the folder 'My Documents' - with exact capital/small letters)
C) Once the 'TheSpellingGame.zip' file is stored in C:My Documents, double click on the file and it should unzip (ie expand to its uncompressed form)
If this does not work then you may need to Right Click on the file and left click on 'UnZip here'
D) Once the file is unzipped, it will produce a Folder called 'The Spelling Game'
Double Click on the folder
You will see a coloured icon called 'The Spelling Game.exe'
Double click on it to play!
E) (OPTIONAL) If you wish to create a shortcut to this game for your desktop, right click on the icon.
Then left click on 'Create Shortcut'
This will produce a duplicate icon called 'Shortcut to The Spelling Game.exe'
Drag it or Move it to your desktop

Any Problems?
1. Please email or call me if you have any problems running the game
2. The commonest mistake is to install the downloaded zip file in the Desktop 'My Documents' folder.
You need to create a new My Documents Folder in C: drive (click on My Computer, then on C:)
3. The program was zipped with freezip.exe. You will need to download this before unzipping the
game file 'TheSpellingGame.zip'. You can obtain it for free by using the link in step A) or by copying
and pasting the following into your browser:
